Lucknow: A multinational child pornography being run through WhatsApp group has been busted by the Central investigating agency CBI in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the news reported in Deccan Chronicle, the agency has booked cases against 114 members and also Nikhil Verma, one of the admins of the group for circulating messages relating to child pornography.
Nikhil Verma, a B.Com graduate and an unemployed from Uttar Pradesh will be brought to Delhi on transit remand.
The CBI is also conducting searches in other parts of UP, Mumbai and Delhi.
According to the media reports, the investigating agency said that the pornographic content was being uploaded in the group named as “Kids-XXX”. The group includes people from different countries- Afghanistan, New Zealand, China, Pakistan, United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
