Generally it is felt that social networking is promoting moral degeneration among youngsters. It spreads indecency and shamelessness in the society and the social networking only promotes evils. However there is other side of the coin too. Today social networking, especially messaging application WhatsApp, has become the best source of Dawah.
WhatsApp has become a great source to eradicate evils and promote virtues by scholars and students of religious organisations like Sunnat-ul-Jama’at, Tableeghi Jama’at, Jama’at Islami and Ahl-e-Hadeeth etc. Lectures of Maulana Tariq Jameel, Dr. Zakir Naik and others can be listened sitting far away. Children, youth, ladies and gentlemen share Quranic Ayahs, Ahadeeth of Prophet (pbuh) , Hamd (swt), Naats etc. Parents read the religious messages, etc received on WhatsApp to their children.
Therefore WhatsApp has become a good source which shows that anything can be used in a better way.
