Mumbai, November 19: Nandata Sen has come in midst of controversies for her nude show in upcoming flick ‘Rang Rasiya’. Over up roared controversies actress quizzed audiences what is wrong in being nude when there is nothing shameful about human body?
Nandana feels that nudity portrayed in the flick symbolizes woman power.
Actress said, “Nudity can be depicted in two ways – when you present a women’s body as an object then it’s demeaning to a women. The way a woman’s body has been presented in this film (Rang Rasiya), it celebrates the power of women.”
Meanwhile on her role in the flick actress says that posing nude for the film had never bothered her and this is because it was required in the flick.
Comparing Bollywood with the cinema portrayed in the west Nandana said, “If Kate Winslet does a nude scene, it’s okay there. But if it happens in India we create uproar. What’s wrong in depicting nudity in a dignified way?”
