TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy strongly criticized the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for stating that the government took centres warning about possible attacks as a routine matter. He angrily questioned what would be his reply now for the lives lost.
Talking to the media here on Friday, he said he questioned why the cetre failed to alert the state government, though Moqbul, the terrorist arrested for the Pune blasts told the Delhi police that they had conducted reconnaissance in the Dilsukhnagar area. He said of the 25 bomb blasts that occurred in the country after Congress came to power at the centre and the state, he said 950 persons were killed and 2500 were injured. He faulted both the governments for being negligent despite blasts occurring repeatedly. He sarcastically said that the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy turned the state into a haven for the terrorists by offering clemency to terrorist Muzid who killed IPS officer Krishna Prasad. He also blamed the government of not giving proper posting to efficient officers and using the intelligence officers for political needs. He charged the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy of totally throwing the administration into disarray. (NSS)
