What Shilpa cooked for Raj, yesterday

Mumbai, June 21: 10.30 am: Sundays are lazy. Woke up late with two glasses of warm water and kishmish paani (gr8 for low blood pressure).

10.45 am: Newspaper time. Sipping beetroot and apple juice with aloe vera. Too late for breakfast, so just having tea.

11 am: Spoke to my parents. Mom’s 60th birthday and Father’s Day, double celebrations 🙂 Having a family get-together in the evening at my place. Cooking a full meal and baking the cake myself. Phew!

12 noon: Decided to make lunch while in the kitchen! Thai Chicken Red Curry. Tried to keep it healthy… used low-fat coconut milk and vegetables.

1 pm: Lunch. Raj approved! 🙂

2.30 pm: Started on the fudge cake

3 pm: Got dressed and left for the temple. Pooja for mom and did anna-daan.

6 pm: Got back home. Back to work. Chef Shilpa in form!

7.30 pm: I’m a wreck!..BUT MISSION COOKING SUCCESSFUL:) just need to change and all set for the party!

9 pm: Family arrives and the celebrations begin. 🙂 Menu for dinner: fish fry, prawn masala, steamed beans with sweet potato, chicken biryani n pomegranate raita.

10.30 pm: Finished dinner and decided to play Monopoly. Done this after ages. Was sooo much fun.. btw. the cake was a hit 🙂

1 am: Tiring day. Acting has never been so tough! But this a different role 😉 G’nite all 🙂
