However, according to Islam, the real success is Iman and good deeds. Hence we should live in the world as if we are a traveller. The glitter of this world should not lure us. In Surah Asr Allah (SWT) says, ‘Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
Dr Israr Ahmed also quotes Allama Iqbal’s verse:
Kafir Ki Ye Pehchan Ke Afaq Mein Gum Hai
Momin Ki Ye Pehchan Ke Gum Iss Mein Hain Afaaq!
