4 years have passed since the gruesome incident of burning alive of 6 persons of a Muslim family occurred at Vatoli region of Bhainsa. But victims are denied justice till date. Vatoli is a small village which is 10 kms far from Bhainsa, inhabited by less than a thousand people. In whole village there are only two Muslim families. Mahboob Khan, the victim was residing in this village for the last 23 years. On the night of October 11, 2008 the communal elements burnt alive Mahboob Khan, his wife Safia Begum (50), daughter Rizwana Begum (25), another 2 year old daughter Mahvish, two grandsons 6 year old Arsalan and 3 year old Noman Khan.
Hindutva outfits, local MLA and Sarpanch were also reportedly involved in the inhuman incident. The then chief minister Dr. Y S Rajshekhar Reddy had announced CBI investigations into the incident. But everyone even the so called community leaders forgot the GO issued on 16-10-2008 in this connection. They pay attention to only those things which may give them political mileage.
