Hyderabad, Octber 05:TDP Parliamentary Party leader Nama Nageswara Rao has questioned the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao to explain why he had to make secret meeting during night with Congress leaders at New Delhi and what were the secret agreements he had entered into with the Congress bosses during his trip to the capital.
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Nama has questioned why KCR had made no attempt to meet the Congress president Sonia Gandhi during his Delhi visit. He has also questioned him to explain why state minister Jana Reddy told the Prime Minister that TRS would be merged in the Congress if Telangana was conceded and why Congress MP K Kesava Rao has given the same assurance to Ahmed Patel on KCR’s behalf.
He said KCR needed to give his explanation on the news reports that appeared in the media as well as details of the leaders he had met in the national capital. Nama said while the state was boiling, it was atrocious that KCR held secret discussions in Delhi and bargained for merger of his party in Congress.
Stating that all the TDP MPs had resigned with sincerity, Nama has reminded that though the speaker had not accepted their resignations, they had not attended the Parliament.
He has also mentioned about all the Congress MLAs submitting their resignations with total commitment to the Telangana cause.
He has challenged the Congress ministers to resign if they had the same commitment.
He has questioned why the union minister Jaipal Reddy who was given that post by the Telangana people had so far not resigned from the post. He said the time had now come for staging a dharna at Jaipal Reddy’s house in Delhi.
He has expressed the opinion that the Telangana issue would find a solution only when all the Congress public representatives resign. (NSS)
