Mumbai: For the convenience of passengers during upcoming Ganapati festival and to clear extra rush in the festive season, Western Railway has decided to run fully reserved special trains to Mangalore and Madgaon from Mumbai.
These trains shall be fully reserved and fares will be inclusive of special charges, a WR release said here.
Train no. 00115 will leave Vasai Road (a far suburb of Mumbai) at 1.45 pm on Saturday and reach Mangalore at 11 am the next day. In return direction, train No. 00116 will leave Mangalore at 6 pm on Sunday and reach Vasai Road at 12.50 pm the next day.
Train No. 00115 will run from Vasai Road on September 3 and 10 and train No. 00116 on September 4 and 11.
Train No. 00111 will leave Vasai Road at 1.45 pm on Monday and reach Madgaon at 3 am the next day. In return direction, train N .00112 will leave Madgaon at 9 pm on Friday and reach Vasai Road at 12.50 pm the next day.
Train No. 00111 will depart from Vasai Road on September 5 and 12 and train No. 00112 from Madgaon on September 2 and 9.
These trains will have second seating reserved coaches. Booking for train nos 00115 and 00111 will open from September 2, the release added.
