Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K Tarama Ramarao here on Wednesday clarified that they would attend Amaravathi foundation laying function on October 22 if invited by the AP government.
Speaking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan today, the minister said the two Telugu States were competing with each other in the matter of development only. Stating that people of coastal Andhra were much benefited by the bifurcation of united State, KTR said the question of building a new capital at Amaravathi would not have arisen.
KTR also stressed the need for the people of the two Telugu States work unitedly for the welfare of the Telugu-speaking people. “Wherever we live, out motto should be to enhance the glory of Telugu people and culture”, he added. (NSS)
