TRS floor leader in the Assembly Etela Rajendar has said the days are numbered for the collapse of the Congress government and party in the region. He also declared that they would pull down the government and achieve the goal of separate Telangana State in the near future.
When a procession of TRS leaders was stopped by the security personnel at the Assembly building gate, the former sat at the Gandhi statue on the Assembly premises and observed Deeksha.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajendar slammed the State government for denying permission for their “Samara Deeksha” on their own soil. He said the overzealous police personnel were taking Telangana activists into custody all over the region since Saturday night. “However, we would break the police cordon and make the “Samara Deeksha” a grand success”, he said, adding that they would pull down the dictatorial government and achieve Telangana.
Another TRS leader and former minister, who had walked out of the Kiran Kumar Reddy government for the sake of Telangana Jupalli Krishna Rao, has asked the Telangana ministers about their course of action if the Union government failed to declare Telangana State as promised by January 28.
