(Siasat News) Welfare Party of India is contesting 2 Lok Sabha seats and 14 Assembly seats in Telangana. State President of the Party Mr. Malik Muthesim Khan is contesting Lok Sabha seat from Nizamabad whereas Mr. Mahmood Ali is constesting from Karimnagar for Lok Sabha.
Mr. Muthesim Khan is contesting election first time. He is getting support from Minorities and other weaker sections. He hoped that his party will fare better in the elections. He said that the people are in favour of change. They want to eradicate corruption in administration. They had bitter experience with the traditional parties. Welfare Party is also contesting from Jagtial for Assembly seat.
Congress, TRS and BJP candidates are worried seeing the mass support in favour of Welfare Party. They are adopting various tactics to win the seats. BJP’s making an attempt to get votes on communal basis, there is no BJP wave in Nizamabad. The person who has to land in jail is contesting elections as Prime Ministerial candidate. There is no Modi wave in Telangana. The functioning of the Congress MP from Nizamabad for the past 10 years was not satisfactory. He promised that youth will get jobs and he will try to lay railway line from Peddapalli to Nizamabad which will be further extended upto Adilabad. He told that Nizamabad city is deprived of basic civic amenities. There is no under ground drainage system. He has toured Bodhan, Jagtial and Nizamabad assembly constituencies. He is planning to tour Koratal, Armoor, Balkonda Assembly constituencies. He told that the voters of Nizamabad want to give an opportunity to the new candidate for offering his services. He hoped that Jamath-e-Islamic will extent its support to Welfare Party very soon. He also expects support from Jamiat-Ul-Ulema and other Muslim organizations.
