On a tip-off our correspondent went to visit a function hall where a magnificent stage costing lakhs of rupees was being prepared for bride and groom. It was found out that it was the valima ceremony of son of a famous businessman.
45 men were busy decorating the stage. Not only the stage but every corner of the function hall was being beautifully and delicately decorated.
It was not quite long when our correspondent returned home after visiting the function hall that he received a report that the majestic stage prepared with such a huge expenditure has been reduced to rubble due to rain and storm. When he again visited the venue he witnessed a scene as if a Sonami or earthquake has hit the place and reduced the entire stage into rubble.

It is nothing but an admonition to the people that at a time when thousands of Muslim girls remain unmarried due to dowry demand and scores of brides are burnt for not bringing demanded dowry, affluent families are wasting lakhs of rupees just for the decoration of a stage; which is quite deplorable.
