Shimla: The maximum temperatures also rose marginally in many places in Himachal Pradesh as weather remained dry in the region with Una in Shivalik foothills being hottest place during the day with maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius.
According to MeT department here, Sunder Nagar, Nahan and Bhuntar recorded a high of 34.7 degrees Celsius, 34 degrees Celsius and 33.7 degrees Celsius respectively, followed by Dharamsala 31.8, Solan 31, Shimla 26.8 and Kalpa 20.6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures also rose by few notches in the state with Manali recording the lowest minimum temperatures of 12 degrees Celsius.
Followed by Kalpa and Keylong at 13.4 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius respectively, three to four notches above normal.
Shimla recorded minimum temperature at 16.3 degrees Celsius, followed by Dharamsala 17.2 degrees Celsius, Solan 20, Bhuntar 20.4, Sundernagar 21.8, Nahan 22.5 degree and Una 24 degrees Celsius.
The MeT office has predicted rains and thundershowers in the state till June 18.
