Weather improves in J&K

Jammu/Srinagar: Minimum temperatures throughout Jammu and Kashmir improved on Thursday due to a nightlong cloud cover as people got some respite from the week-long intense cold wave sweeping the state.

“The minimum temperature was minus 3.0 in Srinagar as against Wednesday’s minus 6.3, thereby bringing relief to the residents,” the Met said.

Minimum temperature was 6.1 in Jammu city on Thursday as against 4.4.
