New Delhi: Former AAP leader Yogendra Yadav on Friday asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal if he wants to return to the path of honest politics after the latter suggested that it would be good to have him and senior advocate Prashant Bhushan back in the party fold.
“Heard @ArvindKejriwal would be happy to have us back! But we never left the path of honest politics. He did. Does he want to come back?” Yadav said on twitter
“We are still walking the same path, still on the same ideals. You were the one who diverted @ArvindKejriwal You decide: You want to return to ideals or you love power?” he added.
Earlier in the day, Bhushan had labeled Kejriwal a “hypocrite seamless” for making the suggestion.
In a strong reaction delivered on Twitter, Bhushan said, “After abusing ‘saale, kamine’ and orchestrating a physical attack by his MLAs in the NC meeting, Kejriwal wants us back! Hypocrite seamless!”
Kejriwal had earlier told a television channel,”If Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan come back, it will be good.”
Bhushan and Yadav were removed from the AAP over alleged anti-party activities. Both have since said that returning to the AAP is not an option for them. (ANI)
