On Tuesday, KJP founder-president Padmanabha Prasanna Kumar shed light on by saying that his party hasn’t merged with BJP, as stated by former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa.
Kumar said the Yeddyurappa’s statement on the issue is far afield from the truth. “We haven’t merged with any party. Only Yeddyurappa and his supporters have joined hands with BJP. Hereafter, Yeddyurappa has nothing to do with KJP.” He said that his party will contest from 28 constituencies.
He further added, “We want to give a ticket to former Union civil aviation minister V Dhananjaya Kumar for Mangalore Lok Sabha constituency. A final decision will be taken after discussions with Kumar after February 15.”
