Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) legislator Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today expressed confidence that a positive statement on the Telangana State formation would emerge from the Centre before the deadline of September 30 set by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao. Talking to media persons here, Mr Reddy warned of serious consequences if the government failed to make a favourable announcement on the bifurcation of State. He said no one could deter the Telangana March by forcible arrests or causing other obstructions. Mr Reddy warned that the agitation would be intensified if the government did not stop forcible arrests of activists in the name of law and order problem. He criticised Telugu Desam (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu for not giving clarity on the Telangana statehood issue in his letter addressed to the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh few days ago. Except demanding all-party meeting to resolve the Telangana issue, he said that Mr Naidu never mentioned in the letter that he was in favour of formation of Telangana state. UNI
