Hajj House building located at Nampally is owned by Waqf Board but surprisingly the institution working for the protection of Waqf property itself failed to prevent unauthorised occupation on its own building.
Minority institutions working in Hajj House are officially the tenants of Waqf Board. But they have occupied by not paying the rents. It is said that without taking the permission of Waqf Board the Minority institutions are making constructions and extension works.
Recently a part of the ground floor of Hajj House was obtained in the name of Information Centre. Minority Finance Corporation is said to have occupied the space for Information Centre without seeking permission from Waqf Board and has begun construction.
