New Delhi, October 04: West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here and sought central assistance for some pending developmental projects in the state. Bhattacharjee is also understood to have raised issues concerning certain projects during the meeting which lasted about 40 minutes, state government sources said.
They said Bhattacharjee also brief the Prime Minister about the overall situation in the state. The Chief Minister, who is here to attend the two-day session of the CPI(M) Politburo, however, refused to comment on what transpired at his meeting with Singh.
