Contrary to the promises of chief minister and top officials, citizens of Hyderabad have to face problems regarding basic necessities of life. In summer season, scarcity of water becomes a perpetual headache for the people. Water is not being supplied regularly for the past one month at Jahanuma, Vattepally, Fatima Nagar, Farooq Nagar, Mustafa Nagar, Owaisi Hills, Tigal Kunta, Bi ka chashma, Sattar Bagh, Amjaduddaula Bagh, Kale Pathar, Bilala Nagar and other surrounding areas.
Locals complain that the tap water is being supplied once in 4 or 5 days, instead of alternate day since the beginning of summer season. Water pressure is also very low in these areas. Tussle among local women for collecting water from the public water tap is a daily routine in these areas.
