The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) Hospital has been facing water scarcity leading to several problems to the patients and their attendants. The hospital has stopped surgeries, medical services due to non-supply of water to the hospital.
Speaking to the media on the water problem on Monday, NIMS superintendent Sathyanarayana said they were trying to solve the water problem. He said surgeries and medical services were facing interruptions due to water scarcity. Making it clear that the problems will be solved soon as they brought the problem to the notice of the officials concerned, he said the hospital authorities will concentrate on alternatives in case the water supply failed to resume tonight.
He explained that the hospital needed huge amount of water and it was not possible to the hospital to adjust with the water to be brought by private tankers. (NSS)
