Telangana deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari today informed the legislative Council that water grid was meant for providing drinking water to every house in the State. Participating in a debate, Srihari said the ruling party would not seek votes if it failed to provide drinking water to every home in the coming four years. He also announced that water Grid project would be completed within the prescribed period.
Criticising the TDP, the deputy chief minister said the former was worried that if the project is completed it will have no future in Telangana state. (NSS)
