Water Crisis In Tirumala Will Be Solved Soon: Uma

AP major irrigation minister Devineni Uma has said steps would be taken to resolve problems of drinking water in the temple town of Tirumala.

Speaking to the media after worshipping Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala during VVIP darshan, Devineni said to solve drinking water problem Telugu Ganga water should be supplied to Tirumala.

The government would complete the Polavaram project within four years. Steps have been taken to prevent smuggling of red sanders from Seshachalam forests on Tirumala hills. The government would auction red sanders within two months for the benefit of the people and farmers of the State, he said. The government would fulfill all its promises given to the people, he reiterated.
