Hyderabad: While making arrangements for the Haj season of 2017, a surprising revelation was made that the water connection of Haj House, Nampally has been disconnected and the Haj pilgrims may not be able to get clean drinking water during their stay there.
When Dy. CM instructed the water works officials to reinstate water connection of the Haj House, the officials informed that Haj House has to pay Rs. 80 lakh toward water bill.
It may be mentioned that Haj House did not pay any bill to Water Works Dept. right from its inception which has resulted in the accumulation of arrears of Rs. 80 lakh.
Mr. Mahmood Ali advised the officials to settle the claim in consultation with MD of Water Works Dept., Mr. Dana Kishore.
