New Delhi: Reliance is in news for its Jio 4G and is talked about by every Indian for the cheap 4G services and other good things. But the company hits the headline after LYF water 1 smartphone explosion.
Back in January, Reliance launched LYF water 1 smartphone in India.
At similar price ranges compared to other devices , LYF lack the superior specifications and is expected to come with some compromises but not at the cost of the user’s life.
Coming to the incident, Pankaj Singh, the user of LYF Water 1 smartphone was said to be browsing Facebook and while using it gets heat up and suddenly exploded in his hand, as per IndiaTimes.
Launched at a price of Rs. 14,699, LYF Water 1, it causes severe injury to Pankaj’s hand and as of now being treated for the same.
The reason for the explosion is not known and the LYF owners haven’t yet responded.
There were also reports of others phones OnePlus One and few Xiaomi smartphones exploded while the device is getting charged.
But it should be noted that user was probably accessing Facebook and the smartphone wasn’t plugged in.
Recently, Samsung Galaxy Note7 was reported for such issues forcing the company to recall the Note 7 units that were sold.
