As many as 25 criminal cases have been booked against those customers who have re-opened their disconnected water supply connection illegally in different O&M Divisions of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board in the last three months.
A special drive was taken up in last 15 days and 12 cases have been booked so far. The drive will be continued vigorously. Similar action will be taken against such defaulting customers who reopen their disconnected water supply connections, said Director (Revenue), HMWSSB. The water supply connections were disconnected for non-payment of dues and causing loss of revenue to the Board, he said. (INN)
