Channel, the Indian opinion has exposed how the big national news channel promote superstitions. They mislead audience just to raise their TRP. Media’s job to serve as watch dog, but almost all the news channel have dedicated themselves to a party or to be precise have become the mouthpiece of that particular party. Media has an important role to play in our democracy. It is called the 4th pillar of democracy. If the 4th pillar is hollow then in no time democracy would fall. However the Channel, Indian Opinion has blamed audience for this. It said people like to watch such news; this is the reason why they air such programmes.
