Baghdad: This Iraqi soldier Abu Azrael nicknamed the “father of archangel of death” in Arabic and also dubbed by locals as “Rambo”, emerged as the ultimate Iraqi tool to fight the ISIS.
Abu Azrael has reportedly killed more than 1,500 ISIS terrorists.
Azrael, who is also known as ‘Iraqi Rambo’ is the leader of the Imam Ali Brigade, a group fighting IS in Iraq for the past many years.
He once used to be a university lecturer and Taekwondo champion, reports claim.
According to Al-Jazeera, he says to the camera: “They sent their elite fighters they said, and look at the third one we got. Isis, this will be your fate, we will cut you like shawarma.” In the footage, he is seen carving out a chunk out of the flesh of the dead Isis fighter.
This local fighter also enjoys a loyal fan following on social media, where he has half a million followers.
