CHRISTCHURCH: In a viral video which has been doing rounds on the internet, a youngster is seen asking New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to embrace Islam to which she responds “Islam teaches humanity and I think I have it.”
In the video, the man is heard saying “To be honest, you brought me here. I have cried for the last three days. I pray that others see your leadership skills. I hope one day you enter into Islam.”
Responding to this she said that Islam taught humanity and she felt she had it.

In the aftermath of the terror attacks in the Christchurch mosque massacre, New Zealand‘s Prime Minister Ardern gained praises from across the globe for the way she handled the situation.

New York Times wrote an editorial “America also needs a good leader like Jacinda Ardern”. It also said that the world should learn a lesson from her.
In recognition of her services, Ardern’s hijab-clad picture was also projected on the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
In the deadliest terror attack, 50 people were killed on March 15 by a lone gunman, the prime suspect, identified as 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant, who went on a shooting spree at two mosques in Christchurch.
