Bulandshahr: In a video of a male tailor in Uttar Pradesh taking measurements of female police officials has gone viral.
The tailor can be seen taking measurement of chest and length of newly-appointed female constables in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh and the police department has come under fire for not hiring a female tailor for the job.
Some of the constables look visibly uncomfortable in the video as the tailor takes their measurements for getting their uniforms stitched.
A departmental probe has been ordered by the Bulandshahr district SSP.
According to the source, Vaibhav Krishan has suspended the male tailor after reports of the incident reached him and has directed the department to immediately hire a female tailor.
