A tragedy was averted at Gwalior railway station’s platform number one on Sunday.
In a horrifying moment, a girl hailing from Gwalior slipped into a gap between platform and train while trying to board a train. She slipped entirely into the gap as the train continued to move. However, it was stopped following the alert.
Fortunately, a nearby vendor saved the girl.
According to reports Raveena residence of Gwalior was travelling to Bhopal to write her B Ed examination. She was about to board the Taj Express, suddenly she slips onto tacks.
However, the woman was rescued safely by a brave vendor identified as Ashok. “I caught her hand in time or else she would’ve fallen deep into gap between train and platform”, told the man who rescued woman.
