Lucknow: Wasim Rizvi who has become a polarizing figure and rankled many due to his controversial comments in recent past has denied his anti-madrasa remarks. He turned away from his remark after he got a notice for his remarks against madrasas, their administrators and students.
The notice has accused Rizvi of making defamatory remarks against the madrasas and their teachers. It has also demanded Rs 2 lakh per teacher to be paid as damages.
The defamation and damages notice was slapped by Islamic Madarsa Aadhunikikaran Shikshak Association (IMASS). In reply, Wasim Rizvi has denied that he has made any comment which has brought disrepute to madrasas and its teachers. Not satisfied with his reply, the association has again slapped a notice.
