Abdul Wasey Mirza heaved a sigh of relief when commissioner police refuted his involvement in blasts. In a press conference the police commissioner said Wasey is not under the scanner. “As part of the investigations we only recorded his statement as a witness along with others,” Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said.
Wasey Mirza a 23-year-old unemployed youth resident of Kala Pathar became the victim of a terror attack for the second time on Thursday during the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts. A section of the media claimed that Wasey’s role in the twin bomb blasts was being suspected and that he was “grilled” by the police.
Wasey son of Shahid Moghal is a salesman. After the statement of commissioner police Wasey’s father heaved a sigh of relief and told that he became light-hearted. He thanked Almighty Allah that his son is safe.
Wasey sustained severe injuries in the Makkah Masjid blast in May 2007 and it was a quirk of fate that he suffered injuries in the Dilsukhnagar blast as well. He is currently resting at home after undergoing treatment at the Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet.
