Dammam, June 14: Furnished flats investors in the Eastern Province have been served with a warning notice from the Civil Defense that any violation of safety rules will see them fined SR30,000, said Col. Mansour Al-Dowsari, spokesman of the Civil Defense in the Eastern Province. He said the administration has drawn up a contingency plan for the summer holiday when streams of holidaymakers and visitors flock to Dammam and Al-Khobar. He said the safety department has divided the entire governorate into blocks to enable the easy access of safety and rescue teams in emergencies.
