General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Siyanath-Wakf of A.P., Mr. Mohammed Aqueel, Advocate told that the participation of Central Minister of Minorities Affairs, Mr. K.Rahman Khan is expected in the Minorities Convention, which is being held in Hyderabad today.
On receiving the information, the general Secretary of the Association informed
Mr. K.Rahman Khan that the hotel where this Convention is being held is constructed on a wakf property. This hotel has been constructed by occupying the wakf land illegally. If the Central Minister participates in this Convention, it would tantamount to encouraging the illegal occupants of the wakf property. Therefore, a request was made to M.r K.Rahman Khan not to participate in the proposed conference. Despite this warnging, if Mr. Rahman Khan chooses to attend this conference, the General Secretary of the Association would register his protest by gherao of the minister.
