Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana gave award The Best KNIPL Award to A.Venkanna, Warangal-1 Depot Driver for best fuel efficiency for the year 2014-2015.
He was given award in a programme was organised to mark the birth anniversary of former President of India A.P.J.Abdul Kalam by the Lions Club at a Hotel in City.
The average KMPL of the AC buses at the corporate level is 3.44 but with his best efforts Venkanna achieved KMPL of 4.26 thus saving 2889 litres of fuel which is a record in TSRTC.
Mr. Satyanarayana lauded Venkanna for his best performance and urged the other drivers to emulate him.
