Congress MP M A Khan and Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had a war of words over Muslim families’ conversion to Hinduism. Taking part in the debate over conversion issue in Uttar Pradesh started by Mayawati and Anand Sharma in Rajya Sabha Mr. Khan strongly condemned RSS, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s exercise of converting Muslims to Hindus and said that after the formation of Narendra Modi led NDA government in the country Hindutva forces are exhibiting willfulness and hurting religious sentiments.
Meanwhile Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi objected Mr. Khan’s remark and urged to delete the names of Bajrang Dal, RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad from the record and stressed that BJP led NDA government respects law and parliament.
