Hyderabad: Telangana State Waqf Tribunal has issued the stay order on the formation of Managing Committee of Masjid Aasaar Shareef (Rahmania) located at Talagadda and the graveyard attached to it. The tribunal issued orders in this connection on November 8. Syed Hameeduddin R/O Talagadda had filed a plea stating that Waqf Board had formed a managing committee on September 29. The applicant presented the copy of the orders issued by 14th additional chief metropolitan magistrate Hyderabad in which 4 were convicted. Those include the treasurer of the present committee. After examining the application the tribunal issued the stay order on the formation of managing committee till November 30.
In another judgment the tribunal issued interim orders against construction on Waqf property located at Dargah Syed Mohammed Iftekhar Ali Shah Watan Chishti Quadri masjid and Khanqah located at Chishti Chaman, Mangalhaat. Tribunal directed to maintain status quo.
The applicant Syed Mohammed filing the case in the tribunal held the Mutawalli responsible for razing of the graves and construction on Waqf property. The notice was issued making Waqf Board a party in the case.
