The government offhandedly allotted the valuable Waqf land worth more than Rs 100 crore to the Housing Board/Deccan Infrastructure and Land Housing Ltd. Hyderabad. It was also tried to erase the waqf land from the government records but the vested interests forgot that records not only exist in the almirahs of government offices or in their computer hard disks, but there are many institutions and community well wishers who keep the record of everything.
There is an ancient graveyard adjacent to Masjid Subhani at Somajiguda. 3.2 acre land was allotted to the graveyard in Asifjahi era. But you would not find a major chunk of the graveyard today.
