Special Officer Waqf Board Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal said that it has been decided to register case against mutawalli of Dargah Hazrat Yousufain in Central Crime Station (CCS) as primary investigations have proved charges of embezzlement. He told the journalists that suspension of mutawalli Faisal Ali Shah has been extended. Tenants revealed that the mutawalli collected Rs. 1.54 crore from them as advance for which no receipts were given. Apart from that 2.58 lakh were donated by the devotees and 2.11 lakh were collected as rents. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal told that the mutawalli failed to produce financial statement and there is also complaint of razing graves against him.
Mohammed Iqbal also informed that 3 workers of Dargah Hazrat Jahangir Peeran and one of Aneesul Ghurba have been suspended on the charges of deception.
