Waqf board chairman Maulana Syed Afzal Biabani Khusro Pasha has welcomed the release of grant-in-aid to the waqf board by the government and said that Waqf Board is taking measures for the protection of Waqf properties and renovation of Masajid and graveyards.
Waqf Board Chairman who was on a visit to New Delhi to have talks with the lawyers regarding the Dargah Hazrat Husain Shah Wali case pending with Supreme Court, told following his return that he has consulted with imminent lawyers of Supreme Court and the board has finalized counter affidavit to be submitted in the court.
