Karachi, Sept.21 : Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis has said that their upcoming tour to Zimbabwe will provide his side with the much needed experience so that they can perform better as a unit in the series against England, which starts from October 13 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Reacting to the exclusion of Anwar Ali from the T20 squad, the 43-year-old said that the all-rounder had suffered from injury and, therefore, he could not be risked, the Express Tribune reported.
Waqar revealed that Pakistan have brought some new faces against Zimbabwe that would feature in England as well, adding that the top performers of domestic cricket might also be called to play against England.
Meanwhile, Waqar also lauded new appointment Imran Khan, saying that the latter looked really impressive and his variations make him different.
