Karachi, Sept.18 : Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis is confident that his side can win the upcoming three-match series against England, if they repeat the same form they had shown during their match against New Zealand and Australia last year.
The 43-year-old revealed that compared to the limited-over series, his side is more focused in Test matches, the Express Tribune reported.
Commenting on the absence of off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, Waqar said that Pakistan spinners like Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar recently displayed some really good performances, and hoped they would repeat their form against England too.
He added that his team is used to the pitches in UAE, saying that it is like a second home for Pakistan so they could do well.
Pakistan will play three Test matches, four ODIs and three T20 internationals against England in United Arab Emirates from October 13.(ANI)
