Minorities Welfare Commissioner and Wakf Board Special Officer Shaik Mohammad Iqbal on Friday informed that the computerisation of Wakf records would be completed by next month.
Iqbal informed that the computerisation of records would help in protection of Wakf properties worth crores of rupees. He said that the computerisation would also eliminate the possibilities of any tampering with the records. He also informed that initiative has already been taken to take back the Wakf records from the Hindu Endowments and Archives Departments. (INN)
