Hyderabad: Waqf Board officials are affixing notices at Anwar-Ul-Uloom College at Mallepaly, after a resolution was passed by the board to take the College under its direct management.
The Wakf Board Chairman Mohammad Saleem instructed their team of 15 officials to seize Anwar-Ul-Uloom today. Officials were headed by Assistant Secretary and Tahsildar Smt Uma Maheshwari and Accounts Officer Smt S.Mumtaz.
The decision was taken on July 5 in a meeting held by Board Chairman Saleem. Where Telangana’s Wakf Board decided to take over Anwar ul Uloom (AU) College and Eidgah of Gutla Begumpet.
A committee was constituted to look after the management of Anwar-Ul-Uloom College. Which consists of Dr Akbar Ali Khan, former VC of Telangana University; Mr Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, DCP and Ms Sofia Begum, Advocate; Mr Nisar Husain Haider Agha, Mr Zakir Husain Javeed and Mr Waheed Ahmed, Advocate (members of Wakf Board), Mr M.A. Mannan Farooqui CEO of Wakf Board would be its convener.
Another meeting is scheduled to be held on July 20 only to consider developmental agenda.
