State Haj Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed and its executive officer Abdul Hameed have requested the waitlisted Haj applicants from Nos 2168 to 2350 to deposit their original passports along with a copy of passport sized photograph with white background and an undertaking in the office of the AP State Haj Committee, Haj House, Nampally before September 15 so that their seats may be confirmed against cancellation of already confirmed seats.
In a pressnote, they have stated that the Haj applicants can obtain their waiting list number from the Haj Committee website www.hajcommittee.com and those who are in the waiting list numbers from 2168 to 2350 may personally deposit their passports in a cover. They have also requested the applicants to make payments only after getting confirmation from the Haj Committee of India and allotment of Bank Reference Number.
They have also clarified that if the seats are not confirmed, their original passports would be returned to them. They also asked the applicants who are not interested in going to Haj to submit a cancellation letter so that other applicants in the waiting list may be considered. (NSS)
