Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao faced a tricky situation in Karimnagar on Tuesday after his helicopter pilots abandoned him. Rao flew down here to attend the funeral of freedom fighter Boyinapally Venkatarama Rao by a special chopper on Tuesday.
The pilot, after KCR left for the funeral, had gone to have breakfast outside the collectorate where a helipad was specially built for the VIP’s visit. After completing the formalities, KCR returned back to the helipad to head back to Hyderabad. But to his surprise, he found the pilots missing.
KCR had to wait for more than 15 minutes at the helipad for the arrival of the pilot.
