New Delhi,July15: The Congress party on Wednesday accused Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of misleading the state assembly over the filing of FIRs into the Vyapam scam.
“Shivraj Singh Chouhan mislead the people from the floor of Madhya Pradesh Assembly. On March 31, 2011, he mislead the state assembly by claiming that that there were no irregularities in Vyapam but FIR copies show otherwise. There were several FIRs against impostor students in Indore, Bhopal and other cities but the Chief Minister claimed otherwise,” Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said.
“The CM claimed that there was forensic investigation done by a Hyderabad lab, but RTIs reveal that no such investigation by was undertaken by the special task force,” he added.
