Amethi, Aug. 19 : Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Madhya Pradesh of appointing persons with RSS ideology in the education institutes of the state.
“What ever happened in Madhya Pradesh, what we all call as Vyapam scam, people of think of it as a case of corruption. But two things have happened, one is corruption and other is that wrong people were appointed in the institutes there, people from RSS, people from BJP and people from a certain ideology,” Rahul said.
“MP key jo educational institutions hain, un mein jo creativity thi, unko khatam kar diya gaya hai (The creativity in Madhya Pradesh’s education institutes was finished). On one hand creativity was ended, and on the other money was minted,” he added.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed two fresh FIRs in the controversial Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
The first FIR has been registered against the five accused and the second FIR involves 13 accused in the scam.
The CBI has already registered 67 FIRs and launched 12 preliminary inquiries into the Vyapam scam.
The Supreme Court on July 9 handed over the Vyapam cases to the central investigating agency. Over 40 people linked with the scam have died under mysterious circumstances or committed suicide. (ANI)^
